NULLPOINTER Privacy policy
This policy covers the website nullpointer.uk. Our apps process their own data and have their own policies, linked at the bottom.

2. The short version
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads no third-party resources (fonts, maps, videos and scripts are all served from our own domain) and contains no forms. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to reject.
3. Visiting the site (server logs)
The site is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data including IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identification. This data is required to deliver the page and to defend against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare, and transfers to the United States are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses. We do not analyse these logs on a personal level.
4. Contact by email
If you write to us we process your email address and the content of your message in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter and for any statutory retention periods.

This site links to third-party pages such as the App Store, Google Play and our product websites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies. No data is exchanged with them until you click — not while this page loads.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal email to us is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), usually the authority where you habitually reside.
